Dr. Nancy Lynch Hale is Associate Professor in the Seidenberg School of Computer Science and the Executive Director of Pace University Online. She is responsible for the delivery of online degree programs at the University providing instructional and learning support services.
The NACTEL is a hallmark program, which since 1999 delivers an industry-driven technical curriculum to employees of members of the NACTEL Coalition AT&T, Verizon, CenturyLink, Frontier, CWA and IBEW online. Dr. Hale and Dr. David Sachs co-directed the program and established the infrastructure and support services needed to deliver undergraduate and graduate degrees. The program began with a single Associate’s degree with the guidance of the NACTEL curriculum committee now has five AS degrees, two BS degree, and a MS in IT degree, as well as five certificates.
The NACTEL Coalition is managed by The Council for Adult and Experiential Learning (CAEL). Its initial funding was from The Alfred P. Sloan Foundation and a grant from FIPSE: U.S. Department of Education.
US News and World Report consistently rank NACTEL’s online undergraduate and graduate degrees nationally.
